I realized I never did answer you.  Thanks to Neil's information It makes 
sense.  I tried your command but I realized I didn't have sudo installed.  
But I did look thru some of my directory sizes and most were 1024 with some 
2048 and the .OLDgnome with 19456.  I always value your input and especialy 
the cool commands like the one below.
