One thing I have finally accomplished with Linux that I couldn't with OpenBSD is using my laptop's winmodem. That's kinda neat :)
My parallel port scanner sort of works too. It used to work better with a 2.2 kernel. The ppscsi drivers are no longer maintained (they authors are looking for a maintainer ...) I can get sane to find the scanner and control it, but I get kernel messages like onscsi.0 data read overran buffer by 3457/12746 bytes The image comes through, but has some really screwy sections. I looked at onscsi.c, but where to make a change, if that's even the right place, wasn't obvious at all, and since I don't know how Linux does scsi, well I didn't look real hard. It would be nice to have it work properly though. I also saw some work being done on Logitech QuickCam video cameras. I haven't tried it yet, but I do have the hardware. -- <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
