The version I used did have a nice GUI, though it looked slightly older; I think they did their own X calls for best compatibility but I never really examined the binary... It had a video pane, and channels in one of the menus; however it would only launch netscrape... and I could launch it from any browser just fine, or from command-line. I have not 'seen' the non-gui version : )
