Will Open Office work well on Linux with a Pentium 200 with 48 MB RAM? I already have it on my Windows laptop (641 -I got it in PC Home magazine).
And if it does can I get it on CD-ROM? I'm willing to pay. I can burn off copies. My cd-burner on Linux works fine. btw: We have already established that most of it is written in C++ And thanks for all your efforts to help me to get video to work on Linux. Maybe with this United Linux comes out they will target a version of Linux that can handle multimedia better with some of these proprietary programs that handle sound and video better and maybe they could get more fonts too. I'm not putting Linux on my laptop yet until they make a flash development program for Linux and I can synchronize with my Sony Clie. I'd also have to get Corel Draw to work on Linux. I'd also have to get my USB CD burner to work with Linux. The video is nice but not critical. thanks, Ben
