Its all pretty much the same thing from the network side... Think of a
modem, dsl router, as a "networking device" and thats the only factor that
changes. If you have a firewall box setup on your network, then you can put a
modem in it to access the internet, you can also hook up a DSL modem to the
same box. If your DSL isnt setup, use the dialup (modem), when the DSL is
functional, you wont need to use the modem (dialup).
