Im thinking a pre-tested computer maybe required!
Im not sure, but there is something about Slackare 8.1 that simply is not 
compatable with my hardware on 2 machines. Probably bios/io oriented hardware 
type thing.
Note: this only happens with slackware 8.1

So... What could they be doing different ?

I wouldnt ever ask anyone to ride up that hill without atleast having a cold 
beer ready for them...  Too bad there isnt a chairlift like those lucky 
skiers get!
