Hey, why not go with the cheaper connectivity and use neat-o features of this great free software, spoofing your IP from any ol' dynamic dialup, aol free trials, OR other packetspace you might find? Seriously, I can see this being a reasonable protection to have in place, of course, but it seems like it'd be such a hassle. Why not require the ssh session to come from a microsoft's subnet, then spoof one of their IP's, just for fun? How about my cellphone's IP, that doesn't get used too often? Odd though, most folks trust SSH enough to enjoy the benefits of being able to use it to log in from just about anywhere they can get network access... the bigger risk, afaik, is trusting an unknown ssh client. On a more human note: Happy August, folks!! Anyone go to any good swimming holes lately? catcha soon... anyone else up for a rogue meeting? Ben PS - I have some great new digital photos soon to come, tho I will not be posting the URL to the list, but if you want it ping me... I'll collect addresses and send it out once I upload everything to the gallery. Contains: country fair with WLAN tree installation and firedancing, local fireworks, and other good fun! 8^]
