Hey I had to print something today (I never print... ) and I just hooked up a
printer (no bother configuing it or anything..) and printed something. well..
ofcourse it sent postscript stuff to the printer, and I realized that I dont
know how to kill a print job! sigh... I turned off the printer and did man
pages on lp, lpr, lpq. I could view whats in the queue with lpq -a, but didnt
find any info in the man pages about killing a print job. so I searched the
net and found it was sooo easy (once you know...) it was embarassing!
for those of you that havnt tried.... this is what you do.
lpq -a (to list print jobs)
cancel <jobid> (this is the id number listed in lpq -a)

I love this linux thing... its pretty cool :)
