For those who don't know, I asked Jim Kaplan quite a few years ago if I
could take over the 'ELUG' web pages as my first foray into Perl CGI
pages and to learn more about web programming and practice my skills.
At the time, the pages were on donated space from a local ISP in town --
cyberdyne.com (they used debian :)

I'm not much of a designer, but I did learn a lot about Perl and later
PHP, which eventually led to a job as a web programmer. It's been very
rewarding and much fun.
