History/disclaimer: Stephen Jones started SDF in 1987 as a public access
unix system. He also is a member of Red Martian, one of the bands hosted at
sevcom. I don't know much about Tom other than he is apparently the primary
at sevcom in Australia. Other than having an account at SDF, I have no other

We are now conducting a volunteer draft of ARTISTS, MUSICIANS, POETS
and even LUNATICS to participate in our long anticipated SEVCOM COLLECTIVE.

**GOALS**
We're forming this collective under US IRS subsection 501(c)(7), a tax
exempt recreational club.
We hope to become member supported by establishing inexpensive annual
membership dues. Doing this will help avoid the unnecessary and very
undesirable commercial sponsorship (no banners, no pop ups, no SONY).
Also, this collective will help perpetuate the existence of SEVCOM.COM
Tom and I have talked about this for years.. We wanted to create a
subsitute for all the other *cack* that is out there (mp3.com mainly) and
create a
small group of quality galleries much like what we are doing with
ANONRADIO.
The big win here is that the members can actually modify their galleries,
where as with ANONRADIO we have to do the updates ourselves. I had my work
put on hold well over a year ago in anticipation of another DRAFT. Since
that has not happened, I've revisited our original plan and finished
Version ONE.
The enlistment is on.
The kitty is calling you.
