I'm trying to get sendmail setup (under RedHat for now) and I'm having a problem with the X-Authentication warning when I'm sending from a transient host. Is there something in my setup that I can change that prevents the warning from showing up in my emails, or do I have to fix my DNS settings? Should I use my isp as a smart_host or not? Any other tips or gotchas that you see here?
