I just installed wireless at my place only to discover that a neighbor has a
wireless accesspoint that's fully open... I could have just bought the
wireless card.

Subject: [Eug-lug]Internet Access..

So, Ive been trying to figure out internet access at my new place. I dont
have (or want) a phoneline. I checked out broadband (at&t), but its not
available. I also looked into dish, and wireless... dish requires phoneline
for the $55/month plan, the guy didnt even tell me how much for the no
phone line version... too much I guess, and it requires clear view of
southern sky. DSL requires phoneline, and is more touble and cost than Im
interested in. Anyone got any ideas? I would be most interested in wireless
probably (since I cant get broadband...).

Anyone have any ideas on what might be a good cost effective option?
Ive considered getting a cricket phone, but I dont think I could hook up
the computers to it (and would probably be really really slow...) anyone
investigated cricket cell phones for internet access?

Jamie
