Vyanet is/was Clipper. IIRC a bit of the dialup went
to WillyNet. It's not a matter of modems though. The
wireless service is somewhat new. It's actually
microwave and the equipment cost is all about getting
the attenae and line of sight. We were going to do it
here at ComputerBase but we couldn't get line of sight
because of some trees. And you can't go knocking down
trees in Eugene.
