I am preparing to install mandrake 8.2 without windows as a dual boot OS. What is the value of using an install, with user, creating a user partition. I'm going to use it.
Is there a program like Ghost to create partition images? I know that Linux is far more powerful in this regard. I just don't want to be reloading the complete OS at every small mistake. I couldn't find Samba in the KDE main menu, but SSH is mentioned. I will look for the package on this install.
