It's a great video, IF you're interested in the history of Open Source
and seeing those famous nerds (err, gnurdz ;^)... I don't think HP
produced it (RevolutionOS, anyway -- don't know much about this
particular DVD), they seem to be distributing it as a gimmick, a method
of reaching out to the community... here's my experiential proof on
that:

I filled out the web form last eve, after seeing the post on the list
last night, and today I got a call from my friendly HP rep. He wanted
to make sure the information I entered was correct, and spelled out
everything letter-by-letter to verify it with me. Very helpful, almost
eerily so for a give-away... I continued to talk with him, since we are
a linux-powered shop here, and talked to him for a bit about our
business needs and that we've been enjoying Dell servers, and he said
that HP is "the only one-stop Linux shop". What a nice line!!
Wonder what he really meant by that... any HP reps lurking here???

ciao,

  Ben

"Spam is such an ugly word -- let's call it "outreach"...

PS - I wonder if the DVD has any added scenes, maybe a Making Of bit?
Is it encoded in macrovision? CSS? region-coded?
