If it is anything like the E-machine (the early under $500 computer.) It
will have a small proprietary power supply, limited PCI / ISA (?) expansion
slots, and watch out for a floppy drive integrated into the front cover (a
replacement cost $50, where a generic cost $15.) I bought one a few years
back and had no problems, except for limited PCI slots. It still works
fine, but I heard many others complain about replacing the power supply (at
twice the cost of a normal power supply) and I saw one person pay for a
replacement on a floppy drive.

Subject: [Eug-lug]walmart lycoris pcs

Does anyone have any experience with the Walmart PCs or Lycoris?

I'm looking at the $228-248 range

What is the life of the PC?
Will it need to be repaired often?
How does the C3 processor compare to a Duron and a Celeron?
Can you upgrade the RAM cheaply and easily?
Does Lycoris come with Open Office?
