Doug,
Hmm ok, I dont know if you can do this the way your describing, since most
(if not all) AP's are a single radio network connected via ethernet to the
primary network. It sounds like you want to create wireless repeaters
basicly. Im not going to say its impossible... but Ill say there are probably
better ways to do that.
What I would suggest is that you setup an omni-directional antenna (ive seen
this done as cheap as $30!) that is centrally located. This ofcourse going to
extend the range quite a bit (probably way beyond your needs, and be a
potential security issue as people anywhere in your neighborhood may be able
to use your access! (but what the heck, you have a T-1... why not share it
with the world!)
I recently saw whats called a "slotted guilde" antenna that people were able
to access upto 15 miles (or was that KM?) away!
Heres one page about slotted guide antenna.
http://www.trevormarshall.com/waveguides.htm
Slotted guide antenna's arent the only omni directional antennas.. search
google and you should find lots of stuff about omni-directional antennae.
