Uh, I guess I should say something. (-:

We live at Gillespie Corners, which is roughly 15 miles southwest of
Eugene.  We have an IDSL line.  IDSL is "ISDN DSL".  It's much slower
than real DSL, 144 Kbps symmetric, but works over much longer line
lengths.  Most ISPs that sell DSL will also sell ISDL.  We happen to
use ATG.  IDSL generally costs more than DSL.  We pay $89/month for
business service w/ 6 static IP addresses.

You should also talk to someone who resells Reach DSL.  It works over
longer line lengths than Qwest's DSL.  EFN and Rio are two local ISPs
who sell Reach.

As for satellite, I thought I read last month that DirecTV was
shutting down their DirecPC service.  Between the satellite latency
and the bandwidth cap, I didn't think DirecPC looked useful for us.
