I've always been able to middle click with my wheel to paste no
matter what Linux OS I've used. Try commenting out the:
Option "Buttons" "5" line. I only go with the ZAxisMapping
option and get scroll capabilities. And let's not forget, you
don't reboot your box, you just restart the X-server :)
