I was redirected to publicknowledge.org Next attempt I was redirected to techp.org Then back to publicknowledge.org, then fsf.org
It's not a dns trick, it resolves only to the same dsl line: $ host tuxedo.org tuxedo.org has address 66.92.236.83 $ host 66.92.236.83 83.236.92.66.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer dsl092-236-083.phl1.dsl.speakeasy.net. It's also not an iptables redirect trick(most likely). It's probably just their configuration for apache. This appears to be the real web host: http://www.wayreth.net/ Everytime I connect with telnet and issue an http/1.0 request or an errored 1.1 request wayreth.net responds. Also that dsl092-236-083.phl1.dsl.speakeasy.net goes to wayreth.net. $ telnet www.tuxedo.org 80 GET / HTTP/1.0 Trying 66.92.236.83... Connected to dsl092-236-083.phl1.dsl.speakeasy.net. Escape character is '^]'.
