We have two presentations this month.

The newbie track:

        Title: Gentoo Linux
        Presenters: Jack Morgan, Graham Forest
Time: Saturday, April 12th, 1:00 to 3:00 PM
Place: EFN World HQ, 43 W. Broadway

Gentoo Linux is surging in popularity. Learn from two of
Gentoo's developers what it's all about, how to install it,
how to fine tune it. Also learn about each developer's
projects: Gentoo SPARC, Gentoo PPC and Mac on Linux, and
        Python and Zope.

The advanced track:

        Title: FreeS/WAN and VPNs
        Presenter: Cory Petkovsek
Time: Saturday, April 26th, 1:00 to 3:00 PM
Place: EFN World HQ, 43 W. Broadway

IP Security (IPsec) is a set of standardized authentication
and encryption services that allow one to build secure tunnels
through untrusted networks. From a user perspective this
allows remote networks to form a Virtual Private Network
(VPN). Imagine having secure access to your whole network
wherever you plug in your laptop: UO, dsl, california, dialup.
We will discuss and walk through IPsec and the most commonly
        used Linux implementation, FreeS/WAN.
