Issue: I note that when I have the modem set to activate at boot /w cat 5 unplugged my connection to the net works like a champ.
Note: Before I was getting 'resolving "what ever website you please"' and Mozilla would hang. Problem: There is something to the activation / deactivation of the modem and NIC card at boot. When I play with them after boot the process is awkward.
