They don't do anything.  Each student gets a hard drive (hopefully 
one that works) and plugs it in at the beginning of each class 
and it gets put away at the end of each class.  So the students 
install Linux themselves on the first night of class.

I think LCC has a fixed fee (so much per classroom hour) for the 
use of the room or something.

But think of it this way.  There was an announcement on the PLUG 
list the other day about some outfit in Boise coming to Portland 
with a similar class, and they're charging a thousand bucks a 
head!  At least we're well below THAT price.
