O'Reilly needs 20 volunteers to help with the O'Reilly Open Source
Convention on July 7-11, 2003. Actually, they need ten volunteers
to work on Wednesday and ten volunteers to work on Thursday; and
they will give all 20 volunteers passes to the main conference
(Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday exhibits and sessions).

Volunteering at OSCON
O'Reilly & Associates would like to extend a special invitation
to all Portland Linux/Unix Group members to attend the O'Reilly
Open Source Convention Sessions for FREE (Wednesday - Friday,
July 9th - 11th) -- a value of $1095 -- in exchange for one full
day of your volunteered time and service at the Convention.
Details
We are currently looking for a total of 20 volunteers to help us
out by monitoring session rooms and verifying attendee badges on
the days of Wednesday, July 9th and Thursday, July 10th . We need
ten committed volunteers per day (for a total of 20), and space is
available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Only one full day of volunteering is required to gain free access
to the convention sessions. Volunteering does not require any heavy
labor or special skills. On your chosen day of service, you will be
required to work from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm. A one hour lunch break
(on your own) is included in the work day, along with two 15-minute
breaks. Your free convention pass will include all events during
the Convention (Wednesday - Friday) including entrance into the
Exhibit Hall and all Exhibit Hall events.
This offer *does not* include any tutorials (Monday - Tuesday).
However, if you are interested in purchasing a tutorial pass to
attend a day or two of tutorials, you may use this discount code
