I don't think it's very funny. My system kept crashing while compiling. I figured right away it was heat, but it wasn't until this weekend that I realized how hot my system was after using it for hours (not compiling). Then I touched my power adapter and it was hot. After my system crashed again, I pulled out the adapter from the laptop to find that the plastic was melting.
