Hi, I've talking to a new client that thinks he wants to buy an accounting package that runs on SCO. I think that $12,000.00 for a system intended for 3 people is a bit much. I'd love to offer SQL-Ledger but I don't know it well enough yet. This would be run strickly in house so there are no remote access issues. In fact there is no way to access it remotely.
If he has his mind made up, is there anyone here that can support/install SCO? You would be sub-contracted to me. If I can talk him into it, is there anyone here that can write in Perl and SQL? If you don't know accounting then I'll try to put a team together. I figure we could adapt SQL-Ledger fit his Eugene, Or. carpet business for less than $8,00.00.
