We have barely marginal cell phone reception at our house, and only
from Verizon. AFAICT, the cell tower we talk to is just north of the
King Estate vinyards. That's three or four miles south of our house,
and not in direct line of sight.
We are looking at getting one of these [1]. But they come in two
versions. One version works with 824-896 MHz, and the other handles
1850-1990 MHz.
We can't find anybody who can tell us what frequency band the cell
tower at King Estate uses. Anybody know? Anybody know anybody who
would know? If you saw a picture of the transceivers, could you
identify them?
