I assume that you ought to be able to run some kind of Linux for PPC on this box. As I recall, the proprietary Unix is called AIX. Did this come pre-installed?
It may have some proprietary display interface, but you should be able to use it in "dumb terminal" mode using some kind of BIOS counterpart to route the /dev/console from the default display to a /dev/ttyxx port, most likely need null modem cabling.
The typical default setting may have the /dev/ttyxx port setup as enabled for login as if connected to a modem. Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away; I remember using a Silicon Graphics MIPS-based workstation with a login-enabled serial port.

I do have 25 pin connections perhaps for an old terminal and plenty of SCSI. Do these just plug into a backbone? I'll take any info I can get. Thanks.
