Is there an easy way to recover a terminal session whose character set
got messed up? It is currently using the ANSI graphics charset AFAICT,
I cannot read anything but can tell I need to see the output based on
the layout patterns (looks like some exceptions are being thrown) -- and
I don't want to kill the session since I've started some important apps
from it that I don't want killed, just yet...

Any tips? I was figuring there was a quick command or even escaped
character sequence to recover the usual fontset. This is in
multi-gnome-terminal, BTW, but I've seen the same thing in the past.
Sorry if this is a FAQ, I don't remember seeing the solution ( =

Ciao and thanks in advance

   Ben B
