Yes, I have a RAID 0 running on a Promise PDC20270 and two drives under RedHat 7.2. But I'm not using it as my root drive. I'm booting off a separate, single IDE drive. If you're compiling your own kernel, 2.4.20 had fatal bugs in the Promise driver. 2.4.21 works well. If you're using RedHat's kernels, they've generally worked, but prior to 2.4.19-xxx, they haven't supported individual IDE drives over 138 Gb. I think I read yesterday that the Promise driver is one of the things not yet working in the 2.6 series. -- Bob Miller K<bob> kbobsoft software consulting http://kbobsoft.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ EuG-LUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.efn.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/eug-lug
