Finally got the card to work. Used: pcmcia-cs wlan-ng (http://www.linux-wlan.com/linux-wlan/)
It's using the prism2_cs driver. I haven't yet been able to get WEP working. I still need to play with that a bit. Hopefully it's possible but 40-bit (the max this card can do, I think) isn't much more than 0-bit encryption. But I'd rather have it. (I know how to do tcpdumps, but don't know how to break 40-bit encryption, so the extra step would make me feel a tad better).
