We have a mail server running about 400 seperate mail domains.  It is a
hardware raid 5 array with 4 7200 60gig drives and two cold spares.  We
looked at SCSI and ATA solutions and it was easy to finally decide to go
with ATA.  The performance/$ ratio is the winner, no contest.

BTW, get a case that will let you mount 4 fans in the front, or get HD
coolers.  Those bad boys get hot...
