Well as I learned the myths, each creation ended with total annihilation of the beings involved -- say for instance that man was made of corn in one creation; the destruction was brought a specific end to corn. When man was made of mud, the flood did well enough, iirc... this 5th creation, according to my own combobulation of myths, is where we climbed onto turtle's back, and to end it she will turn over, as some stories say. However, I don't think we'll be annihilated in my lifetime (and if we are then my verboseness *really* doesn't matter!), but rather a transformation as you say. Myself, I pride in thinking that this transformation is of a far more subtle quality than one might imagine visually, and than it has been happening and *is* currently happening in our very continuum... not at all an isolated event, but the western mind has been aptly trained to question, "what happens on that special day, when the calendar ends?"
bless all forms of intelligence, Ben B PS - footnote below... and sorry for all the OT stuff here. It does have to do with Freedom, for me, though. I hear ya tho -- all those arbitrary rules, indeed, are often bound to the dollar and especially tomorrow's dollar, rather than life now, and tomorrow's life... so let's keep changing things, eh!! _______________________________________________ EuG-LUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.efn.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/eug-lug
