This is what used to be known as U of O's Married Student Housing; now it's called family housing. The upshot is that the residents have outgrown their loud-party days. The Amazon bike path cuts right through the complex, and it's about a 15 - 20 minute (mostly level) ride to campus if you're in decent shape. It takes twelve minutes to drive to campus, not counting time to find a parking spot. There's a supermarket three blocks away, a small park next door, and a large park about four blocks away. A creek flows through the complex with ducks, blue herons, fish and assorted other wildlife present. Eugene doesn't really have any high-crime areas (particularly when you compare us to that stinking unflushed toilet a hundred miles north of us) and this neighborhood is typical. We've had car burglaries but nothing else. I've lived here almost four years.
