Your primary responsibilities for this position include: -Build, lead and maintain technical operations infrastructure including RedHat� Linux servers running MySQL, NetScreen� firewalls -Manage third-party data center operational staff -Manage support relationship with software and hardware providers (including HP, Dell, NetScreen, RedHat) -Work with development staff to plan and conduct hardware and software upgrades -Work with help desk to identify and solve key operational issues -Ensure batch schedule (reporting, backups, etc) completes successfully -Build and maintain operational reports (currently in perl) and archive/purge routines Qualifications: -5+ years of proven creative problem solving, effective teamwork, and clear communication in an information technology role -2+ years experience managing UNIX servers; experience with RedHat Linux in a 24x7 environment preferred -Ability and desire to lead a team -Bachelors degree in information systems, business, or related field -Experience with MySQL, Oracle, Perl, rhn, SQL, CVS, gcc, EMC, F5, NetScreen a plus If interested, please contact: Enrique Washington, Partner Generator Group, LLC 621 SW Alder Street, Suite 303 Portland, Oregon 97210 503-224-4811, x103 [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.generatorgroup.net _______________________________________________ EuG-LUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.efn.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/eug-lug
