I just did my second install of it yesterday and I must say that I am impressed. I honestly thought it would be a piece of crap, and I'm happy to have been proved wrong. It looks & feels just like RH 9. Includes OpenOffice 1.1 and Samba 3.0. Has a few cool new toys (sorry, I'm running SuSE right now so I can't go look & remember what they are). The thing that surprised me the most was how well it runs on old hardware. My son has an AMD 333 machine (anyone got an AMD 550 you'd sell me?) and neither RH 8 nor RH 9 ran acceptably well on it until I recompiled the kernel. SuSE 8.2 is so slow it's painful. Well, Fedora runs just fine, without having to do any tweaking! It was easy to set up. No more difficult than setting up 'doze, and a good deal less time-consuming. Looks like Red Hat has a winner.
