Beware if the '040 machines are LC chips!  68040LC is bad for the
graphics modes, IIRC.  In other news, I've *never* installed linux on a
mac....  sorry!

So, are you doing this independently?  For profit?  Donation?  Tax
writeoff?  We are so curious.
