Sorry, but that doesn't sound too helpful.  It sounded like Dirk (not
me) was looking to find out if OpenOffice had a 100%-compatibility in
regards to the M$ Equation Editor; what you point out is a "similar"
product.  In fact, OpenOffice.org is a "similar" product to M$ Office as
we all know...  thanks for asking our friend google though, it usually
does have the answer.
