get the sound up and running.....For the time being I've pulled the SB Live
card out and got my AC '97 sound working.....I'm planning on diving into the
SoundBlaster card but probably after the holidays.
I've got another little annoyance going on now that I could use some help with.....
I've got a constant hi/lo tone coming from my speakers once Mandrake starts
up. Sounds like a European Police Horn. I think it's got something to do
with the chassis intrusion alarm that's built into this ASUS K7M Slot A
Motherboard but I don't know for sure. I've disabled the intrusion alarm in
the CMOS and there's no cable connected to the pins on the board. Does this
sound familiar to anyone?
Again, thanks for all the ideas/suggestions......you've got me pointed in the
right direction, now I just need to dive in!
