Hello,
I am working on the LISA program committee this year, and
I would like to encourage any of you to write a paper for
LISA.
This conference has been a great help to me professonaly,
and I think that there is a great deal that Oregon can offer
to the LISA/Usenix community.
The submission deadline for LISA '04 - 18th Large Installation
System Administration Conference - is just a bit over 2 months away.
I'd like to strongly encourage everyone who has any SysAdmin
experience (general, network, dba, data storage, anything) to
consider writing an abstract or submitting a proposal for an Invited
Talk.
This is not a Unix-only conference. We encourage sysadmins who have
experience with any current or recent OS to attend, partake and
participate. You don't have to be from a large site (that's just a
holdover from the early days of the conference) and you don't have
to be an experienced admin.
The CFP is online at the conference's main website
<http://www.usenix.org/events/lisa04/>
Please let me know if you have any questions or want to discuss
paper ideas, etc.
