The other, consumer-happy, option is to get a single device that will fit your needs for presentations and as a general mouse. RF is better than IR, since you don't need line-of-sight during your presentations... here's one for ~$14: http://www.softwareandstuff.com/ACC10633.html Also, KBob has a cool "gyromouse", which uses RF, has an optical mouse for when you set it on a surface, and has a gryo sensor so you can just tilt it in mid-air to move your cursor. It acts like a normal PS2/usb mouse so needs no special drivers. I picked up a cheaper (turns out, older!) version of this mouse, which has a ball instead (not optical) -- mine also does not have a scroll wheel... does yours, Bob?
