I've got to agree, Dell Laptops are cheap pieces of junk. The screens
and removable drives go to pieces very rapidly in my experience.
OTOH, I've had my Thinkpad for about four years now and never had any
trouble. Thinkpads are definitely more expensive, but the extra cost
is worth it to me because I don't have to worry about the thing breaking
on me at inopportune moments.
