I am going to get that Asus mobo and P4 combo, that I talked to you about on the phone. It will take a couple of months to save for it though.
I am still looking for a ATX case /w or /wo power supply. I have some ATX power supplies kicking around. So if you are throwing any out in the future I would be interested. Hopefully something clean, but beggars can't be choosers. I am am going to use the Athelon 1800 1.53 GHz /w 512 MB of pc133 sdram to build a linux server. I am completely novice here and I was hoping for some input on this. Not nuts and bolts, but project feasibility (does this seem reasonable.) I downloaded a how-to and I will be using RedHat. It will mainly be for demonstration purposes (I would expect no more then 10-20 hits per day.) This will be a way to present the Blender animations for my project (space entrepreneurship and Environmental sciences, bla, bla.) For those interested: Blender is offering a CAD component. It was just the direction I was hoping they would take. I hope to be offering a class on Blender illustration /w emphasis on science at the Library this fall. P.S. My lame little network is named after the Solar System /w PDAs named after moons. How novel, but it fits with my space theme. I am liking my Logitech USB wheeled mice run through a KVM that turns them back to PS2.
