Ok, I'm still working on this two monitor shell problem. When I switch from X to a shell (ctrl + alt + F1) it's displaying on the second monitor rather than my main monitor. I was thinking it might have something to do with the frame buffer. I then was thinking it might be in my XF86Config-4 file and the way I have it set up,I don't know. I was wondering why I couldn't have two shells going one in the main monitor and one in the second. I've been doing a lot of google searches and have found no one describing this problem. I must be the only one trying two monitors that swithches to a shell.
I found this site where people who have up to 2-8 monitor post their pictures of their real desktop with their monitors. Most are running windows but their are a few who run GNU/Linux. Some are very impressive while some you have to say "you really need to clean up your desk". http://www.realtimesoft.com/multimon/gallery.asp?date=desc&nummon=false&mon=desc So WXWindows changed their name to WXWidgets. Something to do with someone owning the trademark to windows. I didn't know that someone could trademak a common name. Are they going to go after all the actual window manufacturers or actual window suppliers because they are using a common name windows. I suppose I don't look out my window in the morning since I'm looking out a trademarked name. I'm sorry, windows is a word in the dictionary isn't it. Some court should put an end of a company hijacking a common word. Well enought of my rant.
