Yes, unfortunately my precognitive abilities seem to be a bit low
and I wasn't using the -w option before I noticed the suspicious 
traffic.

However a good purge/upgrade/remount cycle and it has not manifested 
itself again

however just to make sure i could do
tcpdump -n -i sis0 -c 500 -w suspicious.tcp 'src me and dstport 80'
before I leave the house.
