You all can just keep telling yourself that. IE, despite its security (or lack thereof) was: - Faster - Could display most pages without crashing - Used far less memory than Netscape 4.x - Had at least SOME real CSS support - Technologically superior to Netscape 4.x for two years before Mozilla was even mature enough to consider an alternative The fact that it was integrated with the OS most people was gravy, and that it didn't exist on Linux was more reason to run Microsoft. With KHTML and Gecko reaching a point where they can compete again against IE, what do you know? We see competition against IE! The dominant share just use IE because it's installed already, but as more and more power users push for better browsers, vendors will again be pressured to include the better options. I won't bother to comment on Enderle. He's an arrogant troll who likes to stir up the Linux groupies every now and then. The guy has this annoying they-hate-me-because-I'm-right attitude, and he's never stopped to consider that we hate him because he's a moron. He may occasionally have a great insight, but a few brilliant ideas and a whole slew of mediocre and bad ones doesn't go half as far as having generally good ideas all around. I can't believe the community is still taking the time to debate the content of his writings. _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
