I have an electronic thermometer, used when I was in the refrigeration/air conditioning trade, that is specifically designed to be used for reading the temperature of flowing air among other things. Just put the probe in the fan's exhaust stream (and another one in the stream coming into the fan, if you want a delta), wait a couple of minutes, and read it out. I think it's plus-or-minus half a degree IIRC. You're welcome to borrow it. Give me a call.
