It does use memory sticks, and I have none.  They arent that expensive. my 
buddy has a camera, that uses the memory stick pro, and he just got a 1g pro 
stick for $130. I dont think this device is new enough to take advantage of 
pro sticks, and the regular sticks are cheaper (although still more expensive 
than compact flash or other simular memory).

its not real new, monochrome, 16 megs onboard. has a nifty "jog wheel" as well 
as the difficult to use stylist.... I think you can get nifty stuff for it, 
but I havnt even gotten it to sync yet!
It might be fun to play with and see what it can do...
