Skype is very cool and works very well. I use it all the time on OS X, in leiu of my work and mobile phones. It doesn't have any spyware as far as I know (I have a pretty nazi firewall that lets me know when weird packets are a'flowin'
I'm not even sure Skype is the same company that puts out Kazaa. I don't believe that's the case, but could be wrong.
