Bittorrent is your friend. It's very reliable. TLMP is a good site for seeds although it seems less popular these days: http://www.tlm-project.org/distributions/browse_distro.php?distro_id=1&expand_version=71
A perennial cause of corrupted downloads, for me at least, is insufficient disk space. Some clients spool to $TMP and fail silently if that partition is full - but will cheerfully provide what you did manage to download.
